"Shortly after the victory of the DWG 2nd flying squirrel squadron over the Ancient Tide splinter fleet, a new beast was formed in the bowels of the Hive. Born from the wreckage of one of their foes, its sole purpose to combat other highly maneuverable jets. Beware to any pilot who dare try their luck against Ancient Tide, the Thebes now prowls the skies."

The Thebes light aircraft is the 3rd aircraft forged to be one of the AT's air vehicle, based on the mythical Amphiptere. Light and highly maneuverable the Athens holds quite well against other Aircraft in the Neter campaign, being comparable in its combat capabilities to the infamous Flying Squirrel. Like all Ancient Tide vehicles the Thebes is not at all Meta, though it is still quite combat capable, packing 8 medium missiles as well as a surprisingly capable PAC cannon.
