Welcome engineer to SI Universe! Explore the intricate road network of Umbra, sail aroundo on Aquor, or even try and survive the wraith of Korrath! Each planet has a unique challenge and/or feature to it.
Whatever it is, excitement is guaranteed!

Planet Auroria
Description: Planet Auroria is a tidally locked planet, however also it lays in the Goldilocks Zone where life can flourish. Due to its unique tidal locked nature, half of the surface is frozen, and the other half is flourishing with life.
Gravity: 0.83G
Average Temperature: 46F (Cold)
Resources: All resources but Uranium, Gold, and Platinum
Heightmap: 2048px
Recommended size: 100km

Planet Zarion
Gravity: 1.15G
Description: Zarion is a deadly desert planet. It has acid rain, as well as some rare ores & mysteries on certain parts of the planet. It is meant to be a hard start, as well as give the player a challenge. As the planet has acid rain, to prevent your ship from slowly getting melted by the rain, installing a shield is strongly advised to circumvent the damages!
Average Temperature: 42F (Cold)
Resources: All resources
Heightmap: 2048px
Recommended size: 120km

Planet Volcanis
Gravity: 1.25G
Description: Planet Volcanis used to be a mid-sized desert planet. It was once rumored even to host life and have liquid water (albiet a small amount). However, due to a runaway greenhouse effect, it is now a hellish wasteland with oceans of lava, and volcanos as far as the eye can see... Scans have indicated that the largest continent is rich in gold and uranium deposits!
Average Temperature: 1200F (Inferno)
Resources: All resources but Platinum and Ice
Heightmap: 2048px
Recommended size: 110km

Planet Ravarna
Gravity: 1.00G
Description: Planet Ravarna is a vast desert planet. Ice is scarce and found only in the lower regions of the planet. NPCs will spawn periodically (TBD after launch) and will attack your base. Are your defenses strong enough to survive the attacks?
Average Temperature: 180F (Hot)
Resources: All resources but Uranium, Gold, and Platinum
Heightmap: 2048px
Recommended size: 120km

Planet Korrath
Gravity: 5.43G
Description: Planet Korrath is a beautiful, but deadly gas giant. Admire its beauty from afar, as it is rumored that once you enter, there is no escape... It also is known to contain the most rare and precious resources in the entire SI Universe. Can you mine enough ores and get out in time before your shield collapses from the extreme pressure to make the risk worth it? As this planet uses damage, it is highly recommended to go into it with shields. Without shields, you will quite simply, perish. Atmosphere and Ion thrusters do not work, you can only rely on hydrogen.
Average Temperature: 287F (Inferno)
Resources: All resources & Stonexium, Onyx
Heightmap: 2048px
Recommended size: 500km

Planet Paratha Prime
Gravity: 1.80G
Description: Paratha Prime is lush paradise. With trees and rolling meadows, and resources plentiful, it is the perfect planet to establish camp, that is if you can escape it!
Average Temperature: 72F (Warm)
Resources: All resources
Heightmap: 2048px
Recommended size: 180km
Water: Do /wcreate then /wradius 1.0275

Planet Aquor
Gravity: 0.95G
Description: Aquor is lush paradise. With trees and rolling meadows, and resources plentiful, it is the perfect planet to establish camp. It is also the perfect planet to establish a naval presence!
Average Temperature: 78F (Warm)
Resources: All resources
Heightmap: 2048px
Recommended size: 100km
Water: Do /wcreate then /wradius 1.0275

Planet Umbra
Gravity: 1.20G
Description: Do you like rovers engineer? Then welcome to rover heaven! (Also known as Umbra). Race against your fellow engineers at the Umbra Racing Complex, explore the vast road networks & highways, admire the breathtaking views, and maybe even establish a mining base! Here at Umbra, there is always something to do. So what are you waiting for? Grab your ship, perhaps a jacket, and come down to Umbra today!
Average Temperature: -27F (Freeze)
Resources: Most resources + Stonexium, No Uranium, Gold, or Platinum
Heightmap: 2048px
Recommended size: 60km

To spawn planets, be sure your an administrator and do SHIFT+F10 you should then select planets, and you can find the planets in the planet list.

It is recommended to install the Large Planets plugin from Plugin Loader to achieve the desired planet sizes.



All planets were made by sam using several programs. Some include Blender, WorldMachine, WorldPainter, Photoshop, GIMP, and Paint.net
