Description
AWVR 777: A Runaway Train

One of the most famous scenes in film history is the Stanton Curve scene from the 2010 film 'Unstopable".
Unstopable revolves around AWVR 777 and AWVR 767, after they go runaway when the engineer has to flip an incorrectly set switch. in the stanton curve scene, the runaway is being slowed down when a railroad worker from an SD40 activates the handbrakes of each car, and it is just enough to slow the train down below derailing point on the sharp Stanton Curve.

How I made the map

So remaking the map was easy but took me a lot of time. So I used footage from the movie, but I also used Google Maps satelite imagery of the real location in Bellaire, Ohio. So I remade Stanton curve by combining both sources.

Uses of the map

You can use the map to recreate the Stanton curve scene, to make AWVR scenes, or just run trains on it until people realise that it's Stanton curve. You can also recreate the Stanton curve scene but using different trains.
