The JSS Ardent Phoenix is a special operations submarine designed and built by Ozone Manufacturing for the Jovian Separatists. The vessel sports a high volume of floodable hull space, granting it a quick ascent/descent rate. Paired with its advanced engine, the Ardent Phoenix is one of the most agile submarines in the Separatist Navy, with a top speed of 40km/h when piloted by a skilled captain. The Ardent Phoenix is armed to the teeth, with four total hardpoints including a Dual-Drive MAC - a combination double coilgun and railgun. Fit with an advanced warning and dynamic proximity detection system, it's capable of warning the crew in the event of hostile contact or dangerous conditions.

The history of the Ardent Phoenix's production is rooted in the betrayal felt by Ozone Manufacturing after the Europa Coalition refused to pay for a commissioned colony ship, the Supernautican. This caused the shipyard company to turn to the Separatists, who had an open contract out for a modern special operations sub. Edging ahead of the competition, Ozone Manufacturing won the contract and produced the submarine for the Jovian Separatists.
