Media Controls

Description
Media Controls give you the ability to link your in cockpit buttons to the window media buttons on your keyboard.

If the application would respond to the media buttons on your keyboard, this mod will work. Just launch the program in the background and when you load the mod and start using the buttons it should work fine.

Supported Programs

The supported programs are:

  • Spotify
  • VLC
  • Windows Media Player
  • Chrome
  • Edge
  • Firefox
  • Brave
  • Tidal
  • iTunes
  • Apple Music

How to add custom programs to the list

Inside your games folder, under @Mod Loader/Settings/marsh.mediacontrols you can add any program of your linking

"steamapps\common\VTOL VR\@Mod Loader\Settings\marsh.mediacontrols\Settings.toml"

For example if you want to make discord.exe be affected, you would enter Discord in between the "

CustomMusicProgramName = "Discord"
DefaultRadioVolume = 25

It should already work for spotify out the box. Just load the mod and then have it open before starting the game

thak you it seems to be working now. i just have a question (sorry) . i use Foobar2000 fto listen to my music. the controls to pause/play , next track/previous track are working well but the volume trigger doesn't . i do have media +/- volume control on my laptop but it affect the window volume and not the Foobar2000 volume. in game the volume selector is not working. do you know why ?

Try just make the Settings folder, not the file then launch the game up to see if it creates the file inside with the correct contents

Ah it should of created a file called Settings.toml inside of that folder
