The HG-DS is USF’s concept for a high gravity drop ship capable of docking in our Helios Fleet Command Ship.

This design is based on requests from USF Forces to enable them to get to some of the vital resources we needed to expand our fleet and to perform necessary rescue missions to retrieve some of our exploration ship crew members being held captive by the Ziraxian Scum in some of their High-G installations. It is equipped with enough teeth to fend off drone attacks but is clearly not designed for any heavy or sustained combat. While it’s block Height is slightly taller than traditional Helios Modules, due to the over-sized Hanger Door our pilots wanted, our Helios always remains in space, so that is not an issue.

The HG-DS has a total cargo lift capacity of over 11kt on a 4.5g planet. With an empty ship weight of just under 3.5kt, that leaves a hefty margin for supplies, loot and ships. If more capacity is needed, Quantum CPUs can be installed in the space reserved, and the thrusters can be upgraded to Antimatter.

The HG-DS comes from the Factory equipped with:

• 6 Light Gattling Turrets, 3 Light Flak Guns and 14 Sentry Turrets to fend off Drone and ground force attacks.
