Description

So it Begins

You've played the Marathon Trilogy until your hands spasmed. You risked friendships and relationships to get to the end. Finally you completed the Marathon Trilogy, and thought your trials were ending.

You were wrong.

You awake aboard a UESC Ship that has just fallen through an anomaly in space which also sucked in an elusive enemy ship. Suddenly all the nuclear weapons on board become armed and activated forcing the crew to abandon ship to the planet below!

Once on the planet below, a new journey awaits.

The scenario that started all scenarios!

Experience a long new campaign utilizing all new maps, shapes, sounds, weapons, monsters, and physics in this award winning (back in the 90s) scenario for Classic Marathon: Infinity!

Created by a group of enthusiastic and dedicated Marathon gamers back in 1997.

Events Leading up to EVIL

If you want some background about what the initial Terminals are discussing in regards to "what just happened?!", you can play through the Siege of Nor'Korh campaign (also available from my workshop). It is a set of 6 levels with custom terminals and chapters.

Note about included Net Maps

EVIL specific physics are burned into each included net map, so you only need to select the Cursed Net Maps or Cursed Net Maps II to play them. The included Cursed Net Physics is for if you want to try other maps within EVIL.

This was made back in the 90s, so some of the graphics are not high res like today.

@Jo291 ... you know, when I was replaying this many years later. That first devlin around the corner caused me to almost fling the mouse off the desk.

Always hated the devlins in this mod. They always made me jump because of how their set up to ambush you.

@pablogo fullscreen modes, and huds on/off/classic/wide would be found deep in the standard preferences panel. Each 'scenario' sets a new prefs file, so you may have to go into there to adjust it for when you run Evil.

I'm so oldschool, I leave all that default for 4:3 and old hud wrap play :D
