Overview
The gold you typically earn throughout the game is usually more than enough to meet all your needs.

However, I believe this guide will be extremely helpful when it comes to purchasing the single most expensive item in the game: a Perfect Slitherpin. This Coromon, sold by a merchant in Darudic, comes with a price tag of 3.194.000 gold.

Despite often neglecting to wear the "Magnet Hat" and not using the "Coin Snatch" skill in every trainer battle, I still managed to gather more than enough money to purchase the Perfect Slitherpin at the end of my last playthrough. In fact, it was unnecessary, as I had already acquired a Potent 20 Slitherpin earlier in the game (and on my first playthrough, a Perfect Slitherpin).

Cyberite and Golbeak were included in my party due to their "Robber++" trait, whereas Armadon was chosen for the "Hoarder++" trait. Nevertheless, I opted to exclude Armadon from my lineup midway through the game, followed by Cyberite at a later stage. Golbeak was pretty much a constant in my party, as I really like its design.

Since I was playing in insane mode, it was not feasible to acquire duplicate Coromons possessing these traits unless I was able to find and capture a perfect wild Coromon. Frankly, even if such an opportunity had presented itself, I would refrain from including duplicates in my party.
Maximizing gold earned per battle
Method
  • Wear the "Magnet Hat" and enable the "Gold Magnet".
  • Create a party consisting of 6 Coromons that have the "Robber++" trait. One of the Coromons ought to be a Silquill (or a Gildwing holding an Enhancer gem)*.
  • Ensure that two of these Coromons are holding a "Gold Lump".
  • Utilize the "Coin Snatch" skill three times during every battle.

Notes
  • * Silquill, along with its evolutionary line, is the only Coromon that has both the "Robber" trait and the "Coin Snatch" skill. Therefore, it would be prudent to evolve Silquill into Gildwing and equip it with an Enhancer Gem. This will increase its survivability while using the "Coin Snatch" skill over the span of three turns.
Magnet Hat (Clothing: Headgear)

"The Magnet Hat attracts 20% extra gold after defeating a trainer. This effect does not work on wild Coromon unless the opposing Coromon uses coin snatch." (from https://coromon.wiki.gg )

How to obtain
  • This item can be obtained after completing the "Buzzlet Delivery[coromon.wiki.gg]" quest.
  • "Buzzlet Delivery is a quest started and finished in the Buzzlet Lab at Donar Island. It can be started by speaking to Joseph." (from https://coromon.wiki.gg )
Gold Magnet (Key Items: Gadgets)

How to obtain
  • It can be claimed after the 44th research level (milestone) has been unlocked.

Notes
  • It increases gold earnings by 50% (from battles), according to the wiki.
Gold Lump (Held Items: Stones)

How to obtain
  • It can be claimed after the 29th research level (milestone) has been unlocked.
  • It can be excavated from the lower floor of Lucy's house in Vlamma. The exact location can be found here[coromon.wiki.gg] or here.

Notes
  • "The Gold Lump is a held item that doubles coins earned from battles, including coins earned from the Coin Snatch move. This does also apply when the Coromon holding the Item is not participating in the Battle." (from https://coromon.wiki.gg )
Coin Snatch (Skill)
"Steal gold from the opposing trainer, up to 3 times."

Coromons
  • This trait can be found in both the Moffel[coromon.wiki.gg] and Silquill[coromon.wiki.gg] evolutionary lines.
  • Silquill and Moffel may be captured for the first time in Radiant Park and Hayville, respectively.
  • Moffel learns this skill once it reaches level 7. Silquill at level 9.

Notes
  • Regardless of which Coromon uses it, this skill can only be used a maximum of three times per battle.
  • This skill doesn't work against wild Coromons.
  • The amount of gold "snatched" is determined by the presence (or absence) and number of Coromons with the trait "Robber" in the party.
  • Having 6 Coromons with the "Robber++" trait will maximize the amount of gold stolen. However, I do not recommend it.
  • I suggest that you choose Silquil over Moffel:
    • Silquill also has access to the "Robber" trait.
    • It has a better chance of surviving the 3 rounds you spent using the skill "Coin Snatch" due to its stronger Defense and Sp. Def.
    • Silquill also has a higher speed.
  • For the reasons stated above, I recommend evolving Silquill into Gildwing and giving it an Enhancer Gem to carry.
Robber (Passive Trait)

Trait Enhancements
Robber+: The spoils go to the victor. Steal 100% extra gold when defeating a trainer.
Robber++: The spoils go to the victor. Steal 150% extra gold when defeating a trainer.

Coromons
  • This trait can be found in both the Patterbit[coromon.wiki.gg] and Silquille[coromon.wiki.gg] evolutionary lines.
  • You will acquire a Patterbit from Professor Nelson at the lab, in addition to your starter Coromon.
  • Radiant Park is the first location where you can actually catch these two Coromons.

Notes
  • The more Coromons you have on your squad with this trait, the more gold you will get at the end of each battle.
  • Having 6 Coromons with the "Robber++" trait will maximize your earnings. However, I do not recommend it.
Hoarder (Passive Trait)

Trait Enhancements
  • Hoarder+: "After a battle, the Coromon has a 10% chance to hoard valuable looking items it finds lying around the battlefield."
  • Hoarder++: "After a battle, the Coromon has a 10% chance to hoard very valuable looking items it finds lying around the battlefield."

Coromons
  • This trait is unique to the Armado[coromon.wiki.gg] evolutionary line. Radiant Park is the first location where this Coromon can be found.

Notes
  • Coromons possessing this trait are not required to engage in combat in order to find items.
  • "Having more than one Coromon with the "Hoarder" trait on a team gives another chance to obtain another item. It is possible to obtain as many as six items at the end of the battle, although not impossible to occur, requires some luck. It will certainly have a positive effect on the frequency and is suggested to do."
  • "For every 10 levels the Coromon has, the pattern shifts one down the list towards better items." (from https://coromon.wiki.gg )
  • You can check the "Item Pool & Odds" here[coromon.wiki.gg].
  • While this trait doesn't directly increase the amount of gold you own, it does allow you to potentially save money on each item you find and later use.
Enhancer Gem (Held Items: Stones)

How to obtain
  • Found in Shop at a cost of 5000 Gold without coupons or Haggle's training.
  • In the Trainer Hub on Donar Island - hidden on the upper floor in the right-hand side of the cabinet, located against the upper wall, in the middle, between the Potentiflator and the Traitformator.
(from https://coromon.wiki.gg )

Notes
  • Given that Silquill possesses both the "Robber" trait and the "Coin Snatch" skill, it would be prudent to evolve it into Gildwing and equip it with an Enhancer Gem. This will increase its survivability while using the "Coin Snatch" skill over the span of three turns.
Haggle Training and Coupons
Haggle Training
After defeating the Titan Hozai, you will receive a message instructing you to visit the Trainer Hub (F1) on the Lux Solis Campus. Next, speak with the engineer, who will provide you with some specialized training. You will now possess the skill necessary to negotiate and reduce prices in shops.

Coupons
Throughout the game, you will come across several coupons. These can be used to lower the total cost of your order or even obtain a limited number of items for free.

Notes
  • Unfortunately, neither haggling nor coupons will work against the merchant selling the Perfect Slitherpin.
However, they are an excellent way to save enough money for the purchase of this Coromon, if that is your objective.
Hidden Gems
There are a number of objects buried throughout the game. These items can be excavated using the Drill Shovel, which is only available in Darudic. I recommend getting the silver variant[coromon.wiki.gg].
The gems can then be sold for a hefty sum of money in the same shop where you got the drill from.

You can refer to the guide below to find every single gem:
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2869220779
Alternatively, you can visit this site[coromon.wiki.gg] and look for the "Hidden Gems/Items" section at the bottom of each location page.
Endgame Gold Farming

The Mirror Challenge can be repeated later in the game to farm gold. To commence the fight against your clone, go to the arena on the Lux Solis Campus and interact with the cube.

Honestly, I don't think it's really worth it, as you can earn more than enough money over the course of the game.
