Description
Small Car, Big Tech

When we here at MTL set out to design and build the Chaser, we wanted to create a tiny, cheap and economical car but still have it be the smartest compact car on the Workshop. We think that we have achieved that.

The Operating System

The main thing separating Chaser from every other compact car on the workshop is the OS: MTL NXT OS.

NXT OS is the hot new car operating system that hit the workshop only a week ago, this being the first vehicle featuring it. It offers everything you could need in a car: Maps, Weather, Economy and a Reverse Camera in the Extra App. Get it here.

The Powertrain

The Chaser is powered by a tiny yet powerful Inline 2 engine. After numerous tests with engines between 1 and 6 cylinders we found that for Chaser's tiny size, 2 cylinders were the perfect balance between performance and fuel economy.

All that power is fed through a modified CVT gearbox made by ZE that can be controlled from the cutting edge MTL Drive Mode Selector.

This allows Chaser to achieve a 0-100km/h in 6 seconds* whilst consuming only 7L/100km**.

*6 seconds can be achieved with Chaser in Sport Mode. In standard mode 0-100km/h is done in 10.5 seconds
**7L/100km was achieved in standard mode whilst using cruise control at 100km/h

Refuelling and Charging

Chaser can be refuelled and recharged by using the very easily accessible* ports as shown below.

*cables and hoses sold separately so make sure that your destination has these available

For Multiplayer Issues
This vehicle features the MTL Shifter Module which as of writing isn't functional on multiplayer if the host isn't within render range, if you encounter this issue inform me and I will post a variant of this vehicle that has a regular boring shifter.
Or you can make your own instrument panel with these outputs:
ch1 Number: -1 reverse, 0 park, 1 neutral, 2 drive
ch1 Bool: on/off Sport Mode

Huge thanks to:
