What is the Arena?
This is the main content of CBUNI, where Cosmic Heroes battle each other to collect Cosmos Points.
The Arena has various game modes, all of which save for CHAOS battles are co-op battle modes.
Work together with your teammates to victory!

How to Participate
In the Central Area, Angel Academy, Resort Area, and all Union Areas, Select [ARENA] from the Menu to see all of the available Modes and Rooms.

How to Withdraw
Generally, when in Arena rooms, players will remain in the Room even the match ends.
To leave a Room, open the Menu and select the [LEAVE] button.

Victory Conditions
Win matches by reducing the opposing team's Battle Points (BP) to 0 or below.
Also, if the Match exceeds the time limit, the team with the most remaining BP will win.

Battle Points (BP)
Battle Points (BP) are the team points that determine the outcome of an Arena match.
At the start of a Match, each team is assigned a number of BP based on the number of players in the team.
During a Match, when a robot is destroyed, BP equal to the robot's Cost will be subtracted from the remaining BP.
In certain stages, large amounts of the enemy's BP can also be consumed by destroying their Power Spots.
Your team's BP will be displayed in blue on the screen, and the enemy team's in red, so keep an eye on the counter while the fight continues.

Score Rating
Players will receive Points each time they destroy an enemy robot or support a teammate.
If a player with a high score is defeated, more BP will be consumed than the Cost of the robot they deployed.
Players with a high Score will have a star displayed above their heads in combat.
Actively target players marked with ★ to make an impact in the battle!

What are Union Wars LEGION?
These Rooms are here to help new Heroes get used to combat.
There are two types of rooms: Training Arena and Legion Room.

What is the Training Arena?

In this Room, Heores can learn basic character controls and combat methods.
It is accessible from the Union Wars Legion Room.

There are three STEPS, 1-3. Completing STEP 1 will unlock STEPs 2 and 3.
STEP 3 allows you for battle in a simulated Arena, making it the perfect place to try out new units and customize gear.
The Training Arena can be joined at any time, so give it a try if you are unsure of how to operate the game.

What is the LEGION Room?

This Room allows for more practical battle experience than the Training Room, and is also accessible from Union Wars Legion.
The battle rules are the same as Union Wars, but players can team up with a number of NPC robots to train in combat.
Up to three players from each team can participate in a battle Room, with the remaining 15 vs 15 combatants comprised of NPCs.
NPC robots will be added as allies for a maximum of 15 vs 15 battles.

Union Wars LEGION also has LEGION Orders available.
Orders give gameplay indications, such as [Obtain a score of 2,000 points or more].
Clearing each Order will impart items and parts as rewards.

By clearing multiple Orders, the player's Order Level will increase, allowing for the acceptance of even more difficult Orders.
Increasing the Order Level will require clearing all of the Main Orders and a certain number of Normal Orders as well.

Order Details
The rewards from LEGION Orders will be useful to new Heroes, so be certain to try to clear them all.
If clearing them proves too difficult, please try again with a tune-ups, leveled-up or otherwise bolstered characters.

Other Heroes may be presnt in the LEGION Room, and they can also participate in matches.
If the player wishes to leisurely fight on their own, it is recommended that they choose an unoccupied Room.

What are Epoch Battles?

In Epoch Battles, elite players of each Union gather together to compete for power in 12 battle areas.
Epoch Battles differ from regular Union Wars in that players are divided into attacking and defending sides.

The Attack team's goal is to destroy the enemy's Power Spot.
The Defense team's goal is to protect their power spot until the enemy BP reaches 0.

The Defence team incurs significantly less Cost when defeated, so they can fight without worrying about Costs moreso than in regular Union Wars.

An announcement will be made before the start of an Epoch Battle.

Useful Arena Battle Information
Be sure to frequently check your radar using the TAB key during a match.
Knowing the positions of your teammates and enemies is the key to victory.

Enemy aircraft will only appear on your radar when an ally locks onto them.
Be careful of surprise attacks from behind from unnoticed enemies!
Also, using the Custom Cartridge Broad Radar will make all enemy aircraft visible from the start of battle.

・If your weapon's Ammo is running low, try using [Shell Supply].

Another strategy is to allow your robot to be defeated before you run out of ammo.
Being defeated will result in a loss of BP, but the player will be able to switch with another robot in the commando, giving players the advantage of choice.

・For cooperating with allies, it will benefit players to use Radio Messages.
During battle, messages can be sent to team members by pressing the Z, X, and C keys.
The Z key issues commands, for when you want to charge or when you need healing.
The X key codes for report messages, such as reporting when an enemy unit is spotted or when a support unit begins recovery.
The C key is for responses, used to respond to instructions or to express gratitude.

Items can be dropped by pressing the TAB key + [item number]. Drop items you don't need to help give your allies an edge in battle!
