Description
RP_Bangclaw (Optimized) / rp_bangclaw_optisat — it's an optimized version of original RP_Bangclaw by PettZon. Don't forget to rate his original work if you like this one!

Requires CS:S!

The main principle in this optimization was "make no changes to the visual part". Of course, there is a few small changes, but those are almost unnoticeable.

Some fixes and improvements have also been made.



Optimization
What was done
- Most (not every) static objects now fade at the long distance. At the same time, it is extremely difficult to notice with the unaided eye.
- Render in all locations in diffirent waysin all locations has been optimized in various ways.(hints, areaportal, etc.)
- Optimized the construction and texturing of locations (extra brushes have been removed, old ones have been redone, excess texture application has been removed, etc.)
- Some of the optimization decisions were made taking into account the future actions of the players. For example, some locations will work more stably after players spawn props than in the original map, since the model rendering will be more optimized.
What is planned
- Improve optimization even more depending on feedback.

If you find a place that is poorly optimized, or you have a specific suggestion for improvement, then write to the «Discussions» section.

What will not be done
- Skybox will be removed (use the "r_3dsky 0" concommand to disable it for yourself or to make players forcefully use it on join).
- Fog will not be added (use the respective addon to add it if required).



Improvements and fixes
What was done
- Fixed lighting and shadows for some doors.
- Fixed (now objects won't glow in the dark when they shouldn't) and improved reflections.
- Fixed being unable to shoot through some metal handrails (a workaround. If someone can help with the actual model fix, I will be glad)
- Some ladder now work like in HL2. It is also now possible to get off them automatically when the end is reached
- Glass, buttons, moving objects and doors can no longer be picked up with the Physics Gun, but tools will still work (mainly to avoid accidental damage by administrators, if there is no other protection or something is wrong with it).
- Most of the staircases now have a smooth ascent in order to avoid shaking of the camera / twitching of the player model when moving from step to step.
- Made it easier to climb up the underground pipe to the ventilation shaft.
- Fixed the being able to see the lamp glow effects through the surfaces of some buildings.
- Increased the number of spawnpoints from 12 to 39.
- Fixed the being able to see some bulging surfaces.
- Fixed some glass being unable to respawn after breaking.

What is planned (depends on feedback)
- Add an admin-zone outside of the map. Since it doesn't change the visual part of the map itself, it can be done if many people will want it.
- Nav Mesh.
- Nodes for NPCs.

Yes, there is also some minuses which I do not plan to hide and which are few. They are taken into account.

Size of the original map: 45,3 MB uncompressed.
This version is larger by more than 30 MB due to working with reflections.

Любая карта устанавливается на выбор игроков и владельцев серверов.

Если не нравится какая-то конкретная, можно присмотреть сервер, где этой карты нет.

The update planned to have not only them, but also a bunch of other changes (a few fixes and some out-of-map admin zones).

I don't really want to flood any of you with a lot of small updates, since I will probably not do much after the update for quite a while (since there would be kinda nothing more to do actually).

Как и писал человечку ниже на английском: работаю над этим и новым обновлением, но это займёт некоторое время, поскольку пока очень загружен на работе. :lunar2020sweatrat:

Насчёт того, что не работает Nodegraph Editor + уже не подскажу. Никаких блокирующих скриптов со стороны карты не имеется.

не ставятся ноды через nodegraph editor +, сохраняю, делаю по инструкции указанной в аддоне, пишу рестарт через консоль и их нет, делаю такие же процедуры на других картах и всё работает, здесь нет. надеюсь скоро добавят ноды и навмеши по дефолту:steamsad::steamsad::steamsad:
