Description

Hello! This addon lets hostile NPCs be friendly to you as long as you're not holding a weapon or shooting at them!

Heres a more in-depth description:
You have 2 modes for how NPCs should react to weapons.

Shoot when weapon is out - Hostile NPCs will shoot you if you are holding a weapon.
Shoot when shot - When a hostile NPC is shot, all hostile NPCs will begin shooting at you. They will ignore you simply having a weapon out.

If you would like to edit which weapons count as hostile, go to reefs_ult_pack > lua > autorun > reefultpack_load.lua. In this file, add an entry to the table "blacklistedWeps". If you do not know how to do this, it is best to not edit this. (The addon was originally going to be called "Reef's Ultimate Pack", hence the file names :P) This is my first addon! I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO LIKE THIS ADDON! It helps in a lot of different ways!

if you pull a gun out, shoot one, then reholster, do they remember that you just shot them? or do they forget and ignore the fact you just shot them lmao

I really like that idea, but I'm currently not scripting gmod addons anymore. I could return at any moment, but I have some other projects I want to complete first.

you acctualy should make it when you take your gun out they point at you and if you don't put your gun away after a certain amount of time they will start shooting at you
