2025 note: i've actually grown to dislike this. at the time i thought this was a good combo but the anim and model choice doesn't really match my taste anymore.
i considered deleting/unlisting this but i'll keep this up anyway since from the looks of it, there are still people that use this.
i do plan on "rebooting" this at some point in the future, if the circumstances allow it, but until then, this won't be updated any further.

Mixes an edited version of the M16A4 from NMRiH with my animations.
Replaces the Desert Rifle/Combat Rifle/SCAR.

Slightly reorigined viewmodel
Edited the carry handle so that it's a bit less "blocky"
Removed most of the lettering from the textures
Tweaked normal map and shading
HUD icon

Would love to see a new take on this; we need more mods that have the M16 on burst and SCAR on fully auto!

@tomaz im going to be honest, i think this should have been a replacement for the M16, not the scar.
sure, it uses the burst mode, but i think it would confuse players a bit if it was replaced for scar
