Captain Spaulding

This mod lets you play with characters from the Marx Bothers film Animal Crackers.
It includes:

Groucho as Captain Spaulding (explorer)
"Captain Jeffrey T. Spaulding, his middle name being Edgar, is a famous African explorer."

Chico as Ravelli (companion)
"Signor Emanuel Ravelli, a talented musician, is known for his quick wit and charm."

Harpo as The Professor (companion)
"The Professor is a silent and enigmatic figure."

All three characters come with their own unique dice; look out for powerful dice combinations between the brothers and with some new items (three items have a unique dice of their own). Trying to get the right combination make the combat a lot of fun!

Custom sounds are included for some of the combat unique skills.

The mod includes six new items, all being references to Animal Crackers or other Marx Brothers films.

In the film Go West, you can see Chico Marx play the piano brilliantly using a fruit to roll through the keys. I always thought it was an orange, but the videos I found on Youtube indicate it is an apple. In the Wikipedia article it says it's an orange, though. Since I wasn't able to confirm which one it was, I decided to include both. You can combine either the apple or the orange dice with Chico's piano skill for a stronger stun effect. His playing was indeed stunning!

Here's all the Marx Brothers dice skills and possible combinations.

* Captain Spaulding (Groucho)

Quip barrage - Effect: Stun target

Second hand smoke - Effect: 2 damage

Groucho glasses disguise - Effect: 2 shield
-Combined with Bulb horn distraction (Harpo) and Stunning piano technique (Chico) = Marx Attack - Effect: 8 damage and 2 stun to all enemies.
-Combined with Hat Trick (Harpo) = Improved costume - Effect: 4 shield

* Ravelli (Chico)
Headache inducing argument - Effect: 2 damage

Stunning piano technique - Effect: Stun target
-Combined with Groucho glasses disguise and Bulb horn distraction (Harpo) = Marx Attack - Effect: 8 damage and 2 stun to all enemies.
-Combined with Harp lullaby (Harpo) = Brothers duet - Effect: 2 stun to all enemies.
-Combined with Orange = Citric glissando - Effect: stun all enemies
-Combined with Apple = Showing off - Effect: stun all enemies

Street smarts - Effect: 1 shield
-Combined with mind (blue dice) = That's poison ivy - Effect: poison target
-Combined with shield (green dice) = Try and catch me - Effect: 4 shield

* The Professor (Harpo)
Bulb horn distraction - Effect: 4 shield
-Combined with Groucho glasses disguise Stunning piano technique (Chico) = Marx Attack - Effect: 8 damage and 2 stun to all enemies.

Harp lullaby - Effect: Stun target

Hat Trick - Effect: 1 damage
-Combined with rifle = Mad Hatter - Effect: 6 damage
-Combined with rifle and awarenes (blue dice) = Madder Hatter - Effect: 10 damage
-Combined with Groucho glasses disguise = Improved costume - Effect: 4 shield

Apple
-Apple - Effect: It does nothing, so be careful and use only if you have the right dice for the combination.
-Combined with Stunning piano technique = Showing off - Effect: stun all enemies

Orange
-Orange - Effect: It does nothing, so be careful and use only if you have the right dice for the combination.
-Combined with Stunning piano technique = Citric glissando - Effect: stun all enemies

Cocoanuts
-Throw away (Cocoanuts only, without combinations) - Effect: 2 damage
-Combined with agility (red dice) = Cocoa fastball - Effect: 4 damage
