Witches get angered by flashlights

Descripción
In response to feedback, I have updated the mod to work at a much smaller range than originally. This will reduce the chances of a teammates light angering the Witch when they're just on the very edge of the anger area. To return the mod to its original state, extract the files and change "local witchradius = 550" to "local witchradius = 1500"


For 15 years, we have been lied to. The L4D1 intro shows a Witch being angered by a flashlight. The survivors tell each other to turn their lights off when they're near a Witch. Everybody jokes constantly about how shining a light on a Witch makes her angry. But what happens when you do it in game? Nothing. She doesn't care.

Until now.

This script changes the way that flashlights affect Witches. If a survivor has their flashlight on, Witches will be angered much faster and from further away. You can turn your light on and off to see the change happen; she'll calm down when it's off, and get mad again when it's back on.

Hey there, I've experienced a crash when using this mod with the immersive first person with Louis

any idea why this crashes L4D2 when I have these two addons enabled together

I looked into the crash report and searched up .vpk in the crash report, the first listed .vpk file that I have found was your mod
steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop\3294544528.vpk
and the second one is \steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop\3425937883.vpk

Thanks so much for letting me know, as I thought your mod was wrong or something because it only worked for me with sitting witches rather than walking ones :)

(the cvars this edits to make them mad only apply to sitting witches)

I tried your mod and it doesn't work on the walking witches.
Could it be because their eyes are covered and they can't see the flashlight?
