Description
Now the player's voice volume depends on whether they are behind a wall or at a great distance.

Features:
  • Adjust the radius in which you can hear players:
    proximity_radius (by default 3000)

  • Adjust the volume of players when they are behind obstacles:
    proximity_mute (from 0 to 1, by default 0.3)

  • Allow dead players to talk:
    proximity_deadtalk (0 or 1)

  • Switch between global and local voice chat:
    proximity_enabled (0 or 1)

    (Only server host can change those)

I have not tested the addon's performance on servers with a large number of players.

дарова, а есть в этом моде функция, чтобы говорить не по бинду?
типа просто включить чат и как в режиме рации, чтобы было слышно когда говоришь, и нет когда молчишь

It seems like gmod does this by default to make sure you hear the players better not the sounds. I don't know how to prevent gmod from doing it, but if i'll find something i'm gonna make a fix.

i'm pretty sure that this addon applies distance-based voice volume ON TOP of gmod's built-in 3d voice thing (controlled by PlayerCanHearPlayersVoice second return var), resulting in players being quieter than intended

Thanks! The gamemode is called bloodshed rework by the way, using bloodshed as a base.
Very slowly working on it but we have a discord and a Gmod server if you want to try it out.
