MTK - Faster Pistol Swap

Description
"Remember, switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading!"


Description:

-MTK - Faster Pistol Swap is a mod that slightly increases the animation speed of transition from rifle to pistol.

Notes:

-The mod only changes the pistol swap speed values, the speed of rifle/launcher animations remains the same. (Maybe I'll make speed versions for rifle & launcher animations)
-Can be clientside.
-If loaded on client and server, the animation speed will affect AI too.
-Compatible with any pistol mod as long as it uses the default swap animations.
-This mod is very simple, so do not expect further updates.

Bugs:

-None that I have noticed so far.

Disclaimer:

-MTK - Faster Pistol Swap is an inspired version of the mod "Tactical Slide Kozak Edit" without the decrease of weapon sway while moving. So in this version, we only have the pistol swap animation speed changes.
-Feel free to add it to your modpack or unpbo it and change the config animation speed values to your needs.

Ye when I uninstalled it, it worked properly again. Ill look into other mods that may be causing issues

Hey! Are you sure you tested this with only this mod active? Just to be sure, it only adjusts animation speed; it doesn’t touch AI behavior at all.

I’ve been using MTK - Faster Pistol Swap in my unit since release, and we haven’t seen that issue, so it’s likely something on your end.

From experience, similar problems usually come from mods that attach objects to the player using attachTo. I had this issue before this mod even existed. In my case, it was Enhanced Movement, it adds an invisible object to the player, making heli AI fly straight up and ignore waypoints due to obstacle avoidance.

Check if any of your loaded mods use that method. For example, Animate - Rewrite and WebKnight’s Two Primary Weapons use similar techniques but handle it properly so it doesn’t affect AI movement.

Hey im sad, this is a great mod but sadly it causes AI helo pilots to be dumb and fly straight up for no reason

also, ive found that theres a repetitive file in the original one, i deleted it in my edited version.

I have absolutely no idea how to change it, any chance you can give us "simply" an option in the addons options to change the value? Right now it is too fast for my taste.
