Thank you so much for showing me how to access it, I had no idea!
(and all my searches so far were fruitless)

You just made my week : )

Open it with BagEditCommunity.exe in the BagEdit folder.

Thanks for replying!!
I'm so confused tho. Wreckfest's release notes from a while ago said surfacelist.srfl was not encrypted anymore, making it available to edit, but every type of notepad I use to open it (even ++) only shows me gibberish inside the file... I might be in over my head with this T_T

I have updated the mod.
Heres the filepath for the original file.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Wreckfest\data\property\settings\surfacelist.srfl

Your mod is awesome and I've been using it for most of my career progress.
However, I do find myself missing the dust build-up from vanilla, as it now seems the cars barely get any dirt on them even after 12 laps... Would there be some way to bring back a bit of the classic dusted-up look? I wouldn't mind tweaking some values myself if you could just hint me in the right direction.

M'aiq hasn't detected any physics changes, this one has also been playing Wreckfest for over 1,000 hours. M'aiq is sure he would've noticed if the physics had changed.

It defiantly becomes pinball. 2 people have said this now. Perhaps it wasn't your original intent but while using the mod the car on car physics, for lack of a better term are "pinball". After removing the mod there is a stark difference in the physics with car on car contact. Just letting you know. Not knocking you or anything you did a great job and worked hard on it but something is amiss. At least for 2 of us that care about that sort of thing.

This mod only changes the particle effects and the dirt build up on vehicles. It does not change any physics or gameplay related files.

I do not recommend this mod.I agree with RimReaper. It changes the physics and makes the game much easier. The AI does nothing to you and if you just tap them they bounce right off. Everything else is good but turning the game into easier "pinball" is a no-no.
