The AC Cobra is a British sports car that was originally planned for racing use. Production began in 1962.The Texan Carroll Shelby further developed the AC Ace model, built by the automobile manufacturer AC, founded in 1905, after he suggested to AC that they install an American eight-cylinder in the Ace chassis. The Cobra became famous because of him.
