"With armor as thick as a war ship, and an arsenal as capable as that of any destroyer class ship, the Arachne is the silent deep sea hunter of the Ancient Tide. Beware to any captain who may dare to venture into Ancient Tide territory, for they may end up in the Arachne's Web."

The Arachne is the first of its line in the Ancient Tide's walker class. Like all other Ancient Tide vehicles the Arachne was inspired by a living creature, in its case both a tarantula and a deep sea isopod. Though, considered a proof of concept the Arachne is quite the capable vessel, with armor thick enough to take a lot punishment for its weight class, and weapons on par with a lot of early vehicles. The Arachne certainly proves quite capable as an early game Vehicle having a cost below 100k, it also helps that it is quite the low maintenance vehicle, due to it not consuming resources for movement. Do note though that while others of its class are considered amphibious the Arachne is a purely water based vehicle, being quite literally blind above water.
