Description
Background Story:

The story of ATE unfolds in a parallel universe, where humanity teeters on the brink of extinction. During “Operation Cherry Blossom,” Task Force A-01 and the Susanoo IV were annihilated midair by the Laser Fort-Class. The resulting massive five-dimensional distortion and causal shockwave swept across the skies, forcibly dragging Earth back to the year 1973—the day BETA first set foot on the human world…Thus begins the story of Muv-Luv ATE: Heart of Dawn…

Though surviving conventional forces fought desperately to hold the line, mankind continued to fall back under the endless invasion. It was not until the second “Operation Cherry Blossom” in 2002 that humanity, at a terrible cost, succeeded in utterly destroying Target A. Yet this victory did not bring the longed-for thirty years of peace. Barely three years later, the evolved BETA struck again, and a new war erupted without warning…





Function:

- Start Game: Choose a timeline scenario, faction, and nation. Select either Humanity or BETA — all hostile AIs will automatically take the opposing side.

- The AI will mimic the player by using almost all units and abilities. BETA AI will continuously produce units in the late game, and the AI will not build walls.

- It is highly recommended to add AI as the teammates if this is your FIRST time playing this mod.

- Adds BETA, Tactical Surface Fighters, and Tactical Surface Attackers units from Muv-Luv. Also adds Land Army, Air Force, Navy units, and superweapons from different nations.

- Includes exclusive campaign maps from Muv-Luv.

- Adds OST and music from Muv-Luv. You can mute the “Music” option in Rusted Warfare settings at any time if you don’t need it.

1) What is the difference between Muv-Luv ATE and Muv-Luv 1983 mod?
- ATE is a mod independent from 1983, featuring more units, exclusive maps, and unique mechanics.
- ATE uses low-resolution units, which means that ATE only needs 1500mb of memory to run, while 1983 requires 3000mb, which is more friendly for mobile users and can reduce frame drops and lag issues.

2) Can I run Muv-Luv ATE and Muv-Luv 1983 at the same time?
- No.

3) Can I use Muv-Luv ATE to run Muv-Luv 1983 maps?
- No.

4) Can I run Muv-Luv ATE with other mods?
-Some functions may conflict or become unusable.

5) Can I play this mod in PvP?
-Not recommended, because the mod is designed for PvE and isn’t balanced for PvP gameplay.

6) What are the future updates?

it really captures the feel of the universe, even cheating with very easy AI and having AI teammates the beta still kick my but.

@Terminator670 I am not sure about the start faction selector; some functions may conflict with other mods. Placing in the sandbox is a safe way.

amazing mod. if at all possible could you add a "start" faction selector? it would allow us to use other mods with this one without having to set it up first in sandbox mode. otherwise, this mod is perfect and well polished.

The new update fixes some map issues, 1999 change to only one Laser Fort-Class unit can exist on the field across all AI teams, adds more startup funds for 1999 and 2005.

The update of V1.5R lowers the difficulty level of 2005 BETA, adds two maps, and adjusts some map properties
