Greetings fellow mod enjoyers!

I grant to thee - A vision mod for your collection.

Ingame screenshots shows an example of this trade vision feature.

I like the idea of having vision over the territories of your trading partners, either being spies or plain information sharing between the factions.
This feature allows you to better respond to threats within the Empire as Franz, or perhaps you wish to keep a faction alive by supporting them in a time of need, where you otherwise might not have known.

This mod is included in my Resourceful Purpose - Compilation and by subscribing to the compilation mod, you no longer need to subscribe to this mod.

What The Mod Does

All factions is granted vision over their trading partners territories.

Considerations

Will the AI also get vision? Yes, I believe so.
Why make this mod? I believe this was a normal feature back in Medieval TW or something similar and I like the idea.

Turn 38 yea this bugged out it no longer works even on reload you will lose vision of everyone :/

Works really well but its CRAZY OP holy trade the amount of factions you discover and if you have a good strength rating you can trade with the whole world in 1 turn and you just snowball discovery, trade agreements, more discovery, more trade agreements.

its literally an "Your economy wins" button

Im playing as Jade court but somewhere progress to 90 turns I realize this feature bugged out, can no longer see trade partners. Reload and restart steam doesn't fix it. Thanks for this mod, so i can enjoy the same boon for the faction i picked.

@Gleen Cross The capital and the provinces through which the most direct trade route passes would be great. Or like in Total War Empire, where you can plunder routes by placing an army in your path.

I think this mod could be more interesting if it only reveals the capital of the trade partner, similar to Civilization games. I love that feature (and it makes sense, how can you trade with the unknown lol), but if it reveals everything, it kinda erases the uniqueness of HEF and the Jade Dragon

Tons of instant money to be earned via diplo (my fav: declare war against whichever eviltide factions my new ordertide friend is at war with), then those sweet trade tariffs hmmmm $$$$$

Thanks for your work anyway. Whenever I get a chance to go Marienburg, I'll try my best to max exploit this HAHAHA <3 BTW: One of my fav mods to use with your comp, Johnny's Trade changes, would be another small factor to amplify the effects (higher tariffs for trade in general, no penalty for new trade partner etc.) BUT it should have an anti snowball mechanism when things go too wild <3

Ah word, so I am already using this all the time as part of the comp. I had no idea!

This is very cool, makes sense etc. BUT it's def one of those things that can get extremely powerful very quickly. Marienburg is a good example. With the SCM mod, a human controlled MB and their first rite (which gives that vision just temporarily and can be super duper powerful) I'd be curious if I can maybe make it snowball - like getting to a point where in particular the discovery of so many factions diplomatically makes the biggest difference.

Viewing additional territory automatically means discovering factions faster, that can really propel you forward in a nasty way. (Caravans aer another huge factor.)
