I had three great-grandfathers who fought during the Great Patriotic War: Mikhail Nikulin (infantryman), Anatoly Tolstykh (gunner), Alexey Anisimov (sapper).They fought in Moscow, Stalingrad, Kursk Bulge and Berlin.They all went through the war from beginning to end and returned home as heroes. Unfortunately, I did not manage to catch them during my lifetime, and therefore, inspired by you, I decided to perpetuate them in HoI4 as a modification

My great great grandfather was on a submarine. that's all i know. i got my middle name from him, which is also my steam username, to honour him. i never met him, but i know he was fighting for his country, he lost his leg in the English channel i believe. God bless you Delgardie

One of my Relatives was a Desert Rat Towed Artillery Gunner. Took part in the Battle of Tobruk and was Part of the Group That Stayed Behind to Let the Rest of the Soldiers Evacuate Before the Italians and Germans Captured the Port.
He Was Captured and Sent to an Italian PoW Camp

He Escaped was Recaptured, Escaped, Was Recaptured, Escaped for a Third time and Was Protected by a Family of Italian Civilians (If i Remember the Story my Dad told me Correctly).

My Great Grandfather was a Hungarian Anti-Tank or Anti-Aircraft operator (Based off of pictures i found of him) He fought on the Eastern Front and survived the war.

Their names were Josef Greßinger and Theodore Graham respectfully
