Jews were put into actual labor camps, given chances to integrate into society as a low working class, and were taken care of, rather than worked to death or willingly slaughtered.
Poland formed an alliance with Germany, rather than forceful annexation.
France resisted the alliance of Germany, and sought it's destruction due to misinformation about the labor camps and certain politics.
France was globally seen as the aggressor of a (more or less) peaceful alliance, and Germany was given minor support by other nations.
France and the alliance waged war against each other, Germany losing their path through Poland, and France pushed into Germany.
Russia became more involved, and assisted Germany in a counter-offensive against France, retaking the "Polish strip."
War was at a standstill more or less, with an unofficial ceasefire across the major fronts, with minor skirmishes in certain areas.
An assassination attempt was made on the Russian military leader, causing Russia to force it's way into France, which Germany capitalized on, and set up fortifications behind wherever the Russian offensive led them, which coined the term: Bustravyna, meaning quickwar in Russian, rather than Blitzkrieg, in German.
Half of France was taken over, when the US convinced France to call a ceasefire to negotiate a peaceful transference of power over occupied territory, thus ending the war.
Poland exchanged a small strip of their land, so Germany could access their new land, as a gift to further the alliance. Russia was compensated for their offensive by Germany evacuating an eastern part of their old land, and gifts of shared research on weaponry.
