I love my Steam Deck as well^^
Enjoy
It is one of the best zombie survival games out there, and you can play alone or with your friends, and it also has a great modding community.
I tried it a bit on steam deck and it has controller support
If you do play it I'd recommend saving on many separate save files, as it makes reaching the alternate endings easier and some of those endings are incredible.
It's a game I don't want to say too much about story-wise as it's an experience to go through without knowing anything, sorry in advance if you have played/tried it and didn't like it.
First one is Future Proof. Very cheap and not too long. The game combines exploration, acquisition of hints and items with some interesting puzzle solving. Game is mostly on the silly side with several endings which all - more or less - cover your survival as an asteroid is destroying your town. It has charming graphics and I had a lot of fun figuring stuff out.
Second one is Crystal Caves HD, a classic platformer. You have to comple singular levels while collecting treasures and avoiding death. Also, has a large workshop with over 1000 maps. Some of them are even good :P
Last one is Wizordum which is still in Early Access but nonetheless a very good play. A boomer shooter with a colourful fantasy setting. For some it might be to easy or even boring. I enjoyed it a lot anyway and it still keeps getting updates, with an active developer.
