Saab J-29 Tunnan

Description
The Saab J-29 "Tunnan" [The Barrel] is an early jet-powered fighter aircraft designed and produced by the Swedish aircraft manufacturer Saab in early fifties. It was the second turbojet-powered combat aircraft to be developed in Sweden (the first being the Saab J-21R) and it was the first Western European fighter to be produced with a swept wing after the Second World War.

The aircraft was remarkable for it's speed despite it's size, topping out at over 1,000 kph. It was also incredibly agile, and on top of all that it's small profile and ease of maufacture meant Sweden could produce them in high numbers, making the J-29 one of the most produced Swedish aircraft, with over 660 built.

this recreation was surprisingly easy to make, as everything just kind of worked out. It's great for dogfighting, but requires some finesse to master. The aircraft is prone to snap stalls, so be careful when pitching up, it is also somewhat unstable, so controls are very touchy. However, in combat this instability makes it deadly maneuverable.

The aircraft also pitches up quicker when inverted, as gravity also drags it down, so inverting is a great way to increase turn rate
