Wrath of the Tiger (English)

Description
The Allies have landed in Normandy and are advancing inland. In order to capture the city of Caen, which is a strategically important objective, they want to bypass the German positions at Villers Bocage.

In this campaign you will take command of the 101st Heavy Tank Battalion and, under the leadership of Michael Wittmann, go into battle against the 3rd Armored Division to prevent the Allied breakthrough at Villers Bocage.

5 single player missions inspired by the campaign of the same name from Soldiers Heroes of World War 2.

New campaigns in progress: USA : 1 mission available


Info:
Due to the fact that there are no British forces in the vanilla game yet, I used the US troops.
Should Great Britain be added in the course of development, I will restructure the missions.

I just finished playing through this for the third time yesterday (30 Sep 2025). It's still one of my most favorite campaigns. I just thought I would thank you again. Thank you. You really should consider updating it to current version even though everything seemed to play fine. Should you do so, that Medic in the final mission, his rifle needs to be changed as it will not take those magazines...or just replace the mags with basic ammo. Thanks again for all the fun!

I thank the author for his hard work. At one time, it was a favorite company in the game Soldiers Heroes of World War 2.

@grenadier_824 Played through it. Good missions! One point to improve: make sure the Tigers are filled all the way up (unless intended). I encountered the problem twice that the Tigers ran dry.

I cant destroy the halftruck please fix
even if i take the radio out of it and place it in a vehicle that gets destroyed afterwards, the radio doesen't count as destroyed

I have done some tests. Friendly fire is deactivated in this mission.

When you enter the halftruck, it becomes “ your own vehicle” and therefore can no longer be destroyed by yourself.
Even with explosives in the vehicle, the “self-destruct button” was always grayed out.

That was causing the problem for me. Can you please add an error prevention?


Unfortunately, the same problem also occurs in the mission "Behind enemy Lines" once you get into a “Jagdtiger”, it becomes your own vehicle and can no longer be destroyed.
