Zargonian Sultanate

Adds the Zargonian Sultanate Guard and the Zargonian Revolutionary Front to Arma 3. A fictional country put into the Futura 2035 setting, the goal was to make a different taste of CSAT, one that uses different equipment compared to other CSAT states, specifically when it comes to infantry. Their Sultanate Guard is split into 4 parts, modern soldiers, conscripts, enforcers and SF. Whereas the Revolutionary Front is a somewhat organised resistance that uses old decommissioned Sultanate Guard equipment and such.

Zargonia is a relatively recent member of the CSAT alliance, situated in the resource-rich Persian Gulf. The nation is ruled by a military junta and benefits from its abundant natural resources, which have significantly boosted its economy. Despite its small size, Zargonia wields considerable influence due to its strategic location and wealth.

Historically, Zargonia attempted to balance its relations between NATO and CSAT, leveraging its resources and strategic position to gain favor from both sides. However, escalating regional tensions and the strategic threat posed by CSAT ultimately pressured the Zargonian Sultanate to align more closely with CSAT. This alliance has brought both military support and political stability, albeit at the cost of greater foreign influence over its policies.

The Zargonian Sultanate Guard, the country's primary military force, is mostly composed of conscripts (~60%). However, the military is currently undergoing a significant modernization process to enhance its capabilities and effectiveness. Alongside their conventional forces, the Zargonian Sultanate Guard has their own SF branch and a secretive branch titled Enforcers which serve as political enforcers keeping a close watch over the populace.

In recent years, tensions between the Zargonian populace and the military junta have been steadily increasing. Economic disparity, political repression, and lack of civil liberties have fueled discontent among citizens. This unrest has led to the emergence of organized resistance movements and public demonstrations demanding reforms and greater freedoms. The primary opposition group, known as the Zargonian Revolutionary Front, has been at the forefront of these efforts. The ZRF is composed of various factions united in their goal to overthrow the junta and establish a democratic government. The government's heavy-handed response to these protests has only worsened the situation, leading to violent clashes and a growing number of deaths. The Enforcers, tasked with quelling dissent, have intensified their surveillance and crackdowns on opposing groups, further angering the public.

The escalating conflict has created a volatile security situation in Zargonia, with the potential for widespread civil unrest. The junta's grip on power is increasingly challenged, and the nation stands at a crossroads, facing an uncertain future as it grapples with internal strife and the pressures of maintaining its strategic alliances.
