Caterpillar 786 Coal Hauler

The Caterpillar 786 is a specialized coal hauler, built in a limited run of five units for the Illinois Coal Corporation.
This robust machine is designed to transport up to 11,000 units of coal at speeds of 110 KPH, all while maintaining essential safety and operational features.


Key Features:
  • Safety: Equipped with an auto-stop function in case of crashes, along with fire extinguishers and welders for on-the-spot repairs.
  • Power: Features two of my 44-cylinder marine diesel engines

    It is connected to generators that power the axles at both ends (excluding the middle axles).
  • Suspension and Brakes: Active suspension and air brakes ensure smooth and secure operation.

Startup Sequence:
  • Enable Auxiliary Power: Turn on the auxiliary power for both engines.
  • Start Engines: Start the engines.
  • Cabin Prep: Turn on the cabin lights and heater if needed.
  • Air Pressure: Wait until the air pressure at both ends reaches a minimum of 15.
  • Handbrake: Disengage the handbrake.
  • Ready to Go: You’re now ready to start hauling!

Notice! [Important]
  • Under the right pedal is the crash detector, you must repair it if you wish to start moving after a crash, otherwise handbrake will be constantly on !
  • The Password for the coal dump is 9874.
  • The Main logic is in the front part of the Hopper, it should autorepair, however if it doesn't, repair around that area until it triggers the autorepair !
