Description
Makes trees stick to the ground for 2 seconds when broken, this simulates the resistance of them being ripped from their roots and makes them fall realistically instead of being flung off into the distance.

This was prompted by Keen improving trees in v204[www.spaceengineersgame.com] but as you can see they still fly, this mod makes them fall down.

Blame Thanks Chipstix213 and enenra for name and thumb suggestion =)

Features
- Pushes broken tree from the root towards the initial spawn point, weakening over 2 seconds.
- Prevents broken tree rotation on Y axis for the first 2 seconds.
- Enables shadows for broken trees (the gif shows how jarring it was before).

Ops nvm on HitPoints, it's not used for grinders... grinders seem to always cut trees in 1.5s divided by grinder speed :lunar2020thinkingtiger:

Probably, you'll have to make the mod yourself :P there's Data\Environment\PhysicalModels_Trees.sbc which has Resilience, from some quick research it's newtons required to break it on impacts, and the HitPoints is for grinder (do NOT edit it in the game folder though, copy it to a mod).
It's an integer though so max value is 2147483647 which is not a lot in the grand scheme of mass*acceleration xD

digi. any way to make trees stronger. so hitting them will cause damage but you still able to grind them to clear a path

That's not compatible with this mod (because if you can never break trees then this mod is pointless) but also that mod is not necessary anymore as keen tweaked trees resistance to being hit and not colliding after being hit (see the gif, that's not me making the tree pass through the car)

That part was fixed in the latest SE patch.

this also seems to eliminate the momentum transfer weirdness, never should my 3 mil KG mobile base hit a tree at 40+ m/s and get sent BACKWARDS.
