Matinee [WIP]

Description
An intense, fast-paced hostage map set in an upscale cinema in Los Angeles, California. Fight through a modern outdoor mall and cinema in a daring rescue mission! Terrorists have taken hostages and are holding their captives in the projection booth and auditorium. Please silence your cell phones, the show is about to begin!

Matinee is a unique take on the hostage mode that helps keep things dynamic and eliminates boring stalemates waiting behind smokes. There's always another route to try, but teamwork is key. It takes inspiration from the likes of Agency, Office, and Nuke. It may take some getting used to, but give it a go and tell me what you think!

Currently work-in-progress, but expect a full release very soon!

Hey man, loving the new map. It look like some recent valve updates has caused some rendering issues. Would it be possible to get it re-rendered?

Thanks so much for the feedback! Definitely still working on those areas and should have a final version coming very soon, including with the lighting issues fixed!

This map has really come a long way since I last visited it. And it looks absolutely stunning. The only things that stop it from being perfect are that there seem to be a lot of lighting bugs. Imo it is also quite empty in places for example short, side alley, lobby, back stairs, And the materials overall are very very clean which amkes it seem not as lived-in as it could be. But maybe those things are dtill being worked on.
Very good job, for me one of the best community hostage maps and should def end up in game

Played on 8/22 . Had sound issues starting at T start point on and off. Restarted the map and sound was OK til round 8 when it got spotty when traveling then nothing at rescue area.
