- compress/decompress all saves.

This mod is similar to Savegame Compressor

For me, under Arch Linux, the save is not compressed when saving either.
No errors related to this in the logs.
Even if only this mod and Harmony are in the mod list.
However, I can convert it manually.

Just tried decompression, works fine too

Mod use GZipStream for .NET Framework 4.7.2 game version. :hardhat:
I tested it on Ubuntu, but other version of linux maybe have some trouble.

Do decompression work fine to you?

Modlist is practically empty, just your mod and some optimization mods (performance optimizer and rocketman). Running on Linux, so maybe that's related? Never stumble into a mod not working due as intended due to OS before tho.
Regardless, the saves compress just fine when done manually

Interesting, can you elaborate more.
Tell me about: modlist, OS version...

Not sure if it's intended this way, but the mod doesn't compress my saves on its own, I have to manually compress them before exiting the game. Toggling Active Save Compression on and off does nothing

WoW, nice. :VBCOOL:
Compress +70GB will take some time.
AutumnLight 6 Jun, 2024 @ 5:50pm

Exactly as you said.
You can extend the life of your SSD, because it is archived as a zip file after being written to the drive.
And reduce Steam backup times.
