Fractal Symbiote

"We found a sealed container embedded in the floor near a collapsed monolith. Looked like a chest, but grown shut over time. The glyphs on the lid were cracked, unreadable. Pried it open and found a small object inside. Fit right in my palm. Smooth shell, covered in fractal lines and one empty slot, like it was built to wait.

I used a spare alien power cell from the upper ruins. Slotted it in and everything shifted. The device opened like a flower, and before I could react, it latched onto my arm. Spread fast, up to my shoulder, part of my torso. Cold, but not painful. Feels like it's syncing with me.

It’s quiet now. Too quiet. There’s a constant vibration in my skull, like a voice behind static. The suit won’t come off. It’s not hurting me, but it’s alive."


Introducing the Fractal symbiote!
This mod adds the following:

Fractal symbiote - grants minor healing and the suit

Fractal matrix - grants the symbiote after being fed a power cell

Suit - an automatic suit that will cover you when you take damage or enter pressure but has limited oxygen that can only be replenished from the oxygen in the air (to encourage you to still help the crew stop flooding)

Hand laser - when the suit detects you are being attacked it will give you a laser inside of your hand
