Automatic saves can be broken, this will be indicated in the main menu.
Manual saves are not influced and as such should be used as automatic saves are unreliable.
Otherwise use the steps described under "Alternatively", I can't that the dll magic is in your favour.

This mod saves along your play automatically and creates savefiles you can load from the modmenu.
The automated saves are limited to one per map and reflect the state of the last time you have played in that map.
Should you choose to "Give up" deleting the save that Jump King creates so will the automatic save be deleted.

Manual saves can be made from the pausemenu and will have the name of the map as well as the timestamp.
It is recommended to rename the folder of the manual save to a more descriptive name.

Copy out these files to save your playthrough w/o the mod:
- Saves/combined.sav
- SavesPerma/general_settings.set
- SavesPerma/event_flags.set
- SavesPerma/attempt_stats.stat
- SavesPerma/perma_player_stats.stat
- SavesPerma/inventory.inv

Open the folder that contains this mod (you can use the button added by this mod or manually navigate to it), then copy the 0Harmony.dll (ctrl-c), go up one folder to see all your installed skins/maps/mods. Check every folder and when you see a mod using containing the 0Harmony.dll, paste (ctrl-v) and replace. A mod adding a different harmony version is the most likely cause. Generally if a mod adds a dll that isn't made for .net4.5 it may brake and needs to be replaced with an appropriate version.
