The way I see it - when the going gets tough and bad days turn into weeks, months and then years - there is always a way out. This thought actually helps me in day-to-day life.
You can also view it as a metaphor with Misaki representing escapism, i.e., entertainment media, like in the Me!Me!Me! music video by Daoko.
