"I've always loved the mechanoid concept, however I kept finding them rather lackluster in terms of actual combat(even modded mechs were somewhat disappointing due to vanilla balance hugging). On top of that their salvage yields were hard nerfed to the point mechs became just a massive boredom to fight since there was minimal reward gained for dealing with them.

As a result I decided to make my own mod that greatly extends mechanoid arsenal, from multiple weapons to
specialised mech fighters while also staying closer to mechanoid lore and making them far more dangerous than the vanilla mechs.
Additionally, these mechs also provide not only good amount of resources but also unique parts that can be repurposed into many useful things with the right research and skill. It can also be sold or refined into simple materials.

Note: these mechs are meant to be far more challenging than the vanilla mechanoids, being unprepared and using outdated weapons will result in the destruction of colonies. I also recommend using other mods that extend weapon and armor choices such as vanilla expanded, rimsenal, rimmu-nation etc. as vanilla weapons can strugle with heavy mechs and vanilla armor will barely protect from the hell these mechs bring."

Changelog:
2024/05/20 - Added biotech patch, buildable by all Mechanicals. Strengthens vulnerable Mechanicals. Now appearing in the game as a separate faction, will no longer contaminate vanilla Mechanical Clan attacks, mechanical clusters, and no longer appear in relics.

Errors when loaded with Rah's Vanilla Turrets Expansion.

I am not sure who the error belongs to, so I have submitted it on both mods.

If I move RVTE to above AMV, I get the same error for a RVTE weapon (Gun_Chargecannon).

@CK It's due to running away from the big mechs in this mod. The first time I stayed and fought, lost and left with very little. The second time I ran before engagement, While they were distracted murdering my chickens.

My computer's motherboard was damaged before and was not repaired in a timely manner due to busy home decoration affairs. In the next week, I will be busy making CE patches for GD5. So the modification of AMW will be put on hold for a period of time.

Btw for anyone looking for mods that are as powerful as these mechs i suggest 'Big and Small'.

Just tested it and 2 giants with vanilla endgame gear managed to kill the Dragon and Thrumbo pretty easily (in a 2v1 each), with modded gear or psycasts 1v1 should be possible too. Be sure to give them jumpacks since the ranged attacks hit like a truck.
