(And I absolutely love the hilarious dedication to the bit.)
I have updated it to 1.6, and as a precaution, I have also updated it to 1.7 so that in the future a disaster like this can be avoided, averting the suffering that might be caused.
Please forgive me.
this will make Rimworld ignore the version compatibility question, even if the mod is truly incompatible
test the mods fully before doing this fix. super light mods like this one are a safe bet, but not guaranteed. this mod has been verified by me and others to work fine in 1.6, so the fix will work for this mod safely unless king god Tynan messes with the cube sprite/item ID later
- click Recubes Your Cube in the list
- click Advanced...
- click Open Folder
- navigate About -> About.xml
- under the line that says Supported Versions, add in <li>1.6</li>
you should now have two identical lines, one that says 1.5, and the other 1.6. like so:
<supportedVersions>
<li>1.5</li>
<li>1.6</li>
</supportedVersions>
- save the file.
- restart the game (optional)
now the yellow text is gone
