Description
BETA v0.2

BASE ABILITIES
Primary Weapons: Rifles, shotguns, and bullpups.
Sword Slice: Sword attack
Relentless: Entering overwatch recovers a small mount of Will and grants bonus Mobility on the next turn.

BARBICAN
Bandolier: Missed shots refund their ammo and have chance to disorient the target.
Ever Vigilant: Go into overwatch if you end turn with a movement.
Bladestorm: Reaction sword attack against foes moving in melee range.
Call For Fire: Enter overwatch, and all allied units within 4 tiles also enter overwatch.
Crisis Mode: Gain 5 Aim and 5 Defense for every enemy you can see in range.
Ready For Anything: Go into overwatch if you end your turn with a primary weapon shot.

INTERCEPT
Preservation: Gain bonus defense for 2 rounds after breaking concealment
Mistblade: 150% damage sword attack. If it kills, it grants a charge of Conceal. 3 turn cooldown.
Maim: Primary weapon shot that immobilizes the target.
Quick Feet: Grants an additional action if the unit's concealment is broken by its own action.
Surprise: +2 damage when concealed, +1 damage when flanking the target.
Ghost Bullet: Primary weapon shot with a small bonus to aim. If it misses or kills the target, it does not break concealment. 2 turn cooldown.

GTS
Shadow to Shadow: Getting a kill with an overwatch shot grants a charge of Conceal.

COMPATIBILITY
As far as I'm aware there should be no compatibility problems from this mod.* However, coming into the scene at this late date, there's a lot out there I might have missed, so please let me know if you run into any problems.

*Obviously incompatible with vanilla, but I have no plans to make a version for that.

THREE TREE VARIANT
Optionally, you can enable a version of this class that uses three upgrade paths instead of two. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Open XComClassData.ini in the mod's Config folder.
2. Add a ; before "+SoldierClasses=SentinelClass"
3. Remove the ; before "+SoldierClasses=SentinelClass3T"
If you choose to play with this, be sure you're using the Community Promotion Screen (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2550561145) or another mod that enables AWC style promotions by default.

Thanks for listening to feedback. Still, this just re-arrange the two trees into three trees though. I understand your preference so I accept your reasoning. Anyway, I'm glad that you put a few new perks in, especially phantom. So, the class seems to be in the better place now.

I do prefer the more streamlined promotions of 2 paths, but it wasn't to much trouble to add support for a three path version. Just check the instructions at the bottom of the description. :sfsmile:

After using this class for awhile, I got to say concealment build is better than expected. Weave in and out of the concealment with mistblade. Slash first to gain quick feet and finish with mistblade to regain concealment. Then, using ghost bullet during mistblade downtime to keep staying in the shadow.

However, I wish he has phantom perk or something to keep him in concealment at the start of the engagement. As of now, he need to initiate first before the other to leap the full benefits of his perk.

This also made me feel more of the miss opportunity of his overwatch perk as it doesn't really does much for him. It all over the place. By itself, the tree doesn't really made sense, it not really synergize well at all. Maybe because the overwatch playstyle is not my cup of tea that why I found it quite underperformed.

One other nitpick thing for me right now is, due to how I play him, Sentinel name doesn't really seem to suit him though lol

I kinda disappointed in having only 2 trees of perk in this class. The standard for custom class had been at least 3 trees nowadays. While it okay to has 2 trees, if your perk are custom or unique. However, this is just another pick random and just a bit(low) synergize perks from perks pack and be done with it. It doesn't differentiate itself enough from existing custom classes.

While I'm grateful to have another custom class as I'm a addict to custom class collection. I just found it hard to justify using this class though.
