I hear you, sorry for the timing. Unfortunately, as I mentioned before, the current method of replacing vehicles isn’t ideal—it essentially uses KI5 vehicles’ data to directly overwrite all the vanilla vehicles' data.
Theoretically, this shouldn’t cause major issues, but it’s still not a great idea to permanently change vanilla data. Additionally, it’s a troublesome solution because every time KI5’s mod has major structure updates, the mod has to be rewritten. I don't have much energy to pay attention to every KI5 mod's update, rewrite this mod and debug it repeatedly, so I leave it be for now.
The most ideal solution would be to replace the vehicles generated in vehicle stories directly with KI5 vehicles without altering or replacing any vanilla content. However, this mechanism seems to be hardcoded—or perhaps I simply couldn’t figure it out, as I’m not particularly skilled with Java or Lua.
