Introduction to R&D History：
The Dongfeng 6 double section power boosting electric transmission diesel locomotive is a design proposal proposed by Mr. Fu Jingchang from the design department of Dalian Locomotive Works around 1994; This design concept was published in a paper titled 'How to Expand the Use of Dongfeng 6 Locomotives' in the 7th issue of the 1995 issue of the journal 'Internal Combustion Locomotives'. The article provides a detailed discussion on the excellent performance of the Dongfeng 6 diesel locomotive, and based on this, proposes to make certain design changes to the Dongfeng 6 diesel locomotive, changing it to a double section, double engine multiple unit diesel locomotive set. However, due to the previous failure of the Dongfeng 6 diesel locomotive, this idea has no follow-up. Similarly, the design of this locomotive was also created by the Voxel Railway Museum based on the design.
