Brynn

Brynn cuts her way into Smack Studio! Though lacking much magic, Brynn makes up for it with cheap tricks, underhanded moves, and sheer tenacity. Brynn is designed to be both casual and tournament-friendly, as she was made with the intention of fighting on even ground with the Base Roster cast.

SPECIALS:

NEUTRAL SPECIAL: EXPLOSIVE FLASK
Brynn chucks one of her magic flasks that bounces towards her enemies! A good option for spacing and gives her some range. It has a 1.5 second cooldown. If you attempt Neutral-B while on cooldown, it does an attack that deals 1%. The projectile itself survives for 1.75 seconds.

SIDE SPECIAL: ARM TETHER
Brynn points her fake arm in front of her, firing her fist like a rocket punch. It explodes upon contact, pulling Brynn towards the fired direction. You can follow up this tether jump with any attack, so please keep that in mind. To use the move again, you will have to reload first and can do this by pressing Side-B again. You do not have to reload again if Brynn dies after having used the tether. Brynn's stocks always start with Side-B charged.

UP SPECIAL: POOFY MCFLOOFY
Brynn does a easily controllable teleport with two parts to it. While it has very good horizontal and diagonal options, it's not particularly good for recovering vertically. Use this for mixups or as a combo finisher when opponents are close to the ceiling.

DOWN SPECIAL: FISHIN' FOR COMBOS
Brynn jumps into the air, landing a hit with both of her knives. If this attack hits, Brynn will jump back slightly and it enables her to follow it up with an attack. If this attack misses, Brynn faceplants onto the ground. (This attack will be patched soon, swapped with a kick using her bandaged fake leg.)

SMASHES:

UP SMASH: PYRAMID SLAP
Brynn uses her fake arm to wrap her bandages around her, before sending opponents upwards into her hand. This attack is a multi-hit with a strong hit on the hand and weak hits that lead to that hand surrounding her.

FORWARD SMASH: BOXY MCBOXFACE
Brynn, carrying a box containing a floof named Pandora, smashes it down in front of the opponent. This is a strong hit and a finishing move. Do not worry, Pandora is fine.

DOWN SMASH: FLASK SMOKEY SMOKES
Brynn throws a flask straight down, doing a large hit and sending up a cloudy mist that deals lingering percent damage. Brynn can move around while the cloud envelopes the area around her. While the Smack itself can be used repeatedly, the cloud cover has a 6 second cooldown before it can be used again.


AERIALS:

NEUTRAL AIR: Brynn rapidly spins her fake bandaged arm like a whip, dealing lots of hits at once. This move has low hitstun, so please keep that in mind. However, if you hit 3 or more times in a row, the attack switches to having higher knockback, hitstun, and damage, allowing you to combo with it.
UP AIR: Brynn holds up a fire starter and blows into it, sending a torrent of flames up at the opponent.
FORWARD AIR: Brynn grabs one of her potions and uses it as a melee weapon front of her. If you land a second hit during the attack, it explodes, dealing extra damage and knockback.
DOWN AIR: Brynn slices down at the air in front of her, spiking opponents unfortunate enough to be within reach.
BACK AIR: Brynn uses Pandora as a wall to prevent opponents from recovering.

TILTS:

UP TILT: Brynn stabs the area above her with both knives. It's a combo starter and can lead into itself at low percents.
FORWARD TILT: Brynn kicks the area in front of her. This move is often used to knock opponents away.
DOWN TILT: Brynn stabs the area low and in front of her, with high hitstun and knockback as a combo starter.


GRABS:

Brynn lunges forward to grab the opponent.
FORWARD THROW: Brynn slams the opponent down behind and in front of her, sending them out in front of her.
BACK THROW: Brynn suplexes the opponent behind her.
UP THROW: Brynn kicks the opponent upwards.
DOWN THROW: Brynn slams the opponent down in front of her, sending them upwards. (Will patch this one later.)


ULTRA: Brynn's fake arm acts as a tether. If it grabs an opponent, Brynn will gain temporary invincibility as she swings the opponent around. Anyone unfortunate enough to be within the vicinity will also be grabbed by this attack. It deals a blow of 16% on the final hit, and 7% for each slam on the ground, for a maximum of 30%.

OTHER NOTES + TIPS

Added two new taunts to Brynn that can be toggled if you press A or B during Brynn's dancing taunt.

Pressing A will turn Brynn into an MS Paint drawing of Brynn.
Pressing B will make Brynn sleep on Pandora's box.

Doing any input while in these two states will cancel the taunt.

Patched Brynn's dance taunt to be in sync with Wisteria's dance taunt and Vesta's dance taunt.
