M/S Sea Trader / Ro-Ro Cargo Ferry

Description

If something is broken or missplaced etc. add a comment and list of the broken things.

History (Fictional):
A vessel ordered by the newly founded OV - Cargo named M/S Sea Trader.
Her keel was laid down in an exiting ceremony as she was the first newbuild for the new subsidiary of OV - Line.
She was launched in 1973 just six months after her keel was laid down, the fitting out didn't take and she was ready for sea trials at the end of the year.

The sea trials were a huge success for the ferry, she achieved a much greater 25 knots maximum speed when she was designed to have a max speed of 21 knots.
The stability of the ship was also better than expected and with large ballast tanks she could take on a bunch more cars than expected.

Her interior was also shown to eager news reporters that later wrote that she had the most comfortable interior seen on a cargo ferry yet.
She had a small but comfortable cafe with some local food, including meatballs, potatoes, salmon soup and two types of bread.
Also included in the interior were a luggage room, reading and writing room and six cabins with a small info servicing customers around the day.
She was also fitted with modern fire fighting systems and bilge pump systems as a first for any OV - Group vessel.

During her career with OV - Cargo there were no major accidents only a small fire in the 2nd car deck.
She was put into service between North Sawyer and the Arctic providing an niche service for those who needed it.
There would be two more vessel build with the modified plans of Sea Trader for other companies.

In 1989 she was sold to ASL for 1.3m credits and she would undergo a small refit of the interior fixing some problems the passengers had with it.

In 1994 she would be sold to AML Shipping that put her in service between Sawyer and Arid mainland, she would suffer a major engine fire there and would be sold for scrap three years later.

Stats:
Speed: 25 knots
Lenght: 47,75m
Beam: 10,75m

Features:
Bridge with all simple but effective controls for all of your needs operating this vessel.
Custom horns and sounds.
Detailed interior with a cafe, reading and writing room, luggage room, cabins and crew sauna.
Two working lifeboats and 4 liferafts.

Performance:
Pretty bad for the size would recommend lower physics settings.

Simulated Sinking System:
Inspired by NeatNaut's Dynamic Damage System [DDS]
The keypad is located at the back of the bridge of the vessel.
The default number is set to "0" and this means that no random failures are going to happen, setting the coffee machine to "1" will start the Automatic Damage System, the system will count down from 25000 and will speed up the countdown with more wind, fog and rain.
To fix the failures there are buttons for them on each of the location.
"Fix Bow Leak" can be found at the crew area at deck 1, and Fix Stern Leak" can be found next to the hatches that cause the leak.
There is no way to fix the battery after a blackout so enable inf electricity if you want that back :).

Starting Up:
To start up the ship you need to make your way to the bridge, after you have made your way to the bridge go to the helm and look to your right.
There should be switches to start up the vessel, now above that there is a "Take Control" button these are used in the bridge and bridge wings to get control in the correct station. If the indicator next to the button is red that station has control.
Now after you have control in the bridge use the throttle to control the power of the engine.

[DO NOT USE THE ENGINE AT 100% AT ALL TIMES, THIS WILL CAUSE IT TO OVERHEAT]
[or turn of engine overheating ig]

Now for the credits:
Autopilot: Autopilot
Simulated Sinking System was inspired by NeatNaut's Dynamic Damage System [DDS]

Thank you to all the amazing people who supported me through the building process :)

@chantillycopadehelado
You need to have this add-on downloaded and enabled for the liferafts to work, https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3009993902 :)

Very nice ship! Sadly the vehicle ramp doesnt seal the cargo compartment. Are you planning to fix this issue?

@ToooRandom
The radars should be spinning when you enable them from the bridge.
