The Last Supper

The Last Supper is a scene that occurs in the New Testament and has been throughout history depicted in many art forms, most famously Leonardo da Vinci's piece in the late 15th century. It is a depiction of Christ dining with the Twelve Apostles.

The Last Supper is commemorated on Holy Thursday by many around the world, a fundamental day of Holy Week and just a day before the Paschal Triduum. The Last Supper is a time just before where the prophicies foretold in the past to be fufilled and amongst the ones gathered at the table, one would do as it was written, where Christ would become the Final Adam.
