Description
"Cadmium squadron"
Role: Fire Support

This fleet is centered around a Plasma/Dakka marauder supported by PD/Jam tugboats. Capable of crippling alpha strikes, this formation has enough soft and hard kill to hold it's own against both missiles and craft, but will suffer under sustained return fire.

The marauder provides the majority of the firepower and functions as the centre of the fleet. 6 plasma cannons with three rapid cycle cradles enable an absolute torrent of fire; dump plasma before opening up with the 250 and 100mm.

In formation around the marauder are four 100mm point defence tugs; spread across their formation are: x1 EO dazzler, x1 CMD jammer, x2 Radar jammer, and x8 flak turrets. One of the PD tugs has Huntress/FCR for burn through and locks. Don't be afraid to break up the formation in the mid or late game to cap points.

Last but not least, there is a dedicated offset spotting tug equipped with both Early Warning and Bloodhound radars to hang back and spot targets safely out of jamming range, as well as a cap shuttle to snag an early point or handle a natural.

To setup for engagements or react to threats, try a combination of HDG/ROL commands for the marauder, and HOLD FIRE/FIRE POS for the tugs.

Updated, i sorted out the power issues on the tugs :steamthumbsup:
