Description
Weapon behavior change for Garry's Mod. Makes Half Life 2 Grenades detonate on impact.

Increases usefulness of an otherwise useless and barely used utility item.



Features:
  • impact_grenades 1 to enable the impact grenade behavior.

  • Half Life 2 grenades will detonate when they collide with anything when thrown.

  • If the grenade manages to not hit anything within it's usual detonation timer, they'll blow up after their timer ends, just like in vanilla Half Life 2.

Limitations:
  • This addon has only been tested for Single Player. There may be unnoticed bugs during multiplayer matches.

  • Any NPC that can toss grenades has the potential to utterly f*ck you up proper due to the significantly reduced reaction time you have to dodge. You can remove grenades from Combines using No Grenades for Combine Soldiers.

  • May render a few spots in campaign maps unbeatable due to their design requiring grenades to roll to their intended area to progress.
