Illithid

This mod adds a new character to the game, Illithid. "Illithid" is a fancy term for Mind Flayers from dungeons and dragons. I decided to make one a playable character taking inspiration from both their depiction in D&D and in Baldur's Gate 3.

This character relies on their telekinesis special to grab opponents and follow up with more moves. Their attacks don't do a lot of damage on their own, but they combo very well, chipping away at opponents with fast combos. Their super move, extract brain is their biggest damage dealing move. Devastating an opponent if it is able to connect.

This charaacter features 7 attacks, 4 specials, a movement ability, and 2 supers.

Universal Attacks:
-Tentacle Whip: A basic short-ranged attack with mediocre damage but extra stun-time
-Force Tunnel: A fast attack that sends you forward but deals low damage.

Grounded Attacks:
-Mind Blast: A diagonal-up attack that deals decent damage.
-Grasping Tendrils: An attack that aims far in front of you and deals good damage.
-Psy-Crash: An attack that sends you forward and deals good damage but has high hit lag.

Aerial Attacks:
-Downward Mind Blast: Sends you towards your opponent with a diagonal-upl attack that deals decent damage.
-Psychic Stomp: Sends you straight down, deals high damage if you collide with your opponent but also unleashes a larger explosion that deals less damage.

Universal Specials:
-Mind Spike: Creates a small homing projectile that deals low damage.
-Telekinesis: Acts as a throw but with a larger reach but shorter stun.

Grounded Specials:
-Conjure Tendril: Creates a tentacle projectile that moves along the ground dealing decent damage.

Aerial Specials:
-Concentrated Blast: A projectile that spawns in a distance you choose, it deals decent damage but doesn't stun or have knockback.

Supers:
-Plane Shift: Costs 1 level of super, teleports you directly to your opponent.
-Extract Brain: A powerful melee attack that can hit multiple times, dealing high damage.

Movement:
-Levitate: Fly upwards a short distance in a direction you choose.
