Description
Block's Thrower: Post-Game Add-On

Block's Thrower: Post-Game Add-On is an official add-on for Block's Thrower Mod. As such, you must have the mod enabled for this one to work! Furthermore, this mod's content cannot be accessed without using one of the supported content mods (See below for more details)!

This mod adds post-ML support for the Thrower class content from Block's Thrower in the form of 3 new tiers of Thrower gear, allowing Throwers to more viably take on post-ML content from other mods.

New Gear:
  • Ataraxia, Nihilshade, and Ascended equipment sets
  • Each set includes a respective crafting material, armor set, accessory upgrade, and four weapons

(IMPORTANT!) Mod Support!:
Be aware that the crafting materials for the new content are unobtainable without help from other content mods! Instead, they must be crafted from certain materials from supported mods; this is done to effectivley place the new content into other mods' post-ML progression.
Supported mods, and what tiers of gear they support, are as follows;
  • Thorium: Ataraxia
  • Calamity: Ataraxia, Nihilshade, Ascended
  • Fargo's Souls: Ataraxia, Nihilshade, Ascended
  • The Story of Red Cloud: Ataraxia, Nihilshade
  • Echoes of the Ancients: Ataraxia, Nihilshade
  • Homeward Journey: Ataraxia, Nihilshade, Ascended
Additionally, the Mod of Redemption is a unique exception; it is given partial support for the Ataraxia tier, allowing access to its weapons and accessory, but not the armor set.

Regarding balancing:
Because of how the mod is designed to work with multiple mods at once, its balancing may be very dubious since all mods tend to follow their own balancing post-ML.

Open Source and Unofficial Add-Ons:
  • This mod is open-source under the GNU GPLv3 license. In short, you’re allowed to view and utilize code from the source if you’d like, but if you want to publish any work you did with it, that project will have to use the same license (GNU GPLv3). The mod's LICENSE file contains the full details of terms and conditions, etc.
  • You can access the source-code using tML's extract function (Found in-game on the mod's More Info page in your Mods List).
  • Know that unofficial add-ons are welcome! For example, even though this mod exists, add-ons which add support for a particular content mod are still useful since they will be more in tune with that mod's balancing.

Localization:
This mod inherently supports the English language, though I am unable to provide any other languages since that's the only one I'm fluent in. However, localization contributions on GitHub are welcomed and appreciated. Below is a list of supported languages so far:
  • English (Base)
  • Simplified Chinese (Contributed by Urgiv)

Thank you for the The Story of Red Cloud compatibility. I was just thinking it'd be cool to try this mod in TSORC, and hey, it's already there lmao.

@2063075100, Thorium not having access to Nihilshade is intentional. It being unobtainable in Fargo's is a known issue, though. I forgot to figure out the proper internal name for Abominable Energy so the recipe is currently broken.

Nihilshade Fragments can not be crafted when playing with Fargo and Thorium,please fix this bug

@𝖉𝖊𝖛𝖔𝖗𝖆𝖉𝖔, basically nothing.

This mod (nor the base Block's Thrower Mod) has no interactions with Rouge at all.

Thorium's Thrower is technically the same class as this mod's Thrower (both internally use a tML-provided Thrower damage class).
Each mod's content is fully independent of the other's, but you can still mix-and-match items freely.
That said, only Thorium items will use Exhaustion and Technique mechanics. Furthermore, though both are balanced around vanilla, they handle stat distribution differently (Thorium's armor sets grant way more Throwing damage than this mod's armors, for instance) which may result in overpowered or underpowered builds depending on how you combine gear and weapons for each mod.

@𝖉𝖊𝖛𝖔𝖗𝖆𝖉𝖔, when you have a compatible mod enabled alongside this one, certain materials from the mod in question will be able to craft one or more of the 3 crafting materials from this mod.

The materials/tiers that each compatible mods allows access to is listed in the description and (in more detail) the Supported Mods Thread discussion.

@yahooyowza, no, these post-game add-ons are designed to just be generalized content for multiple other mods at once rather than making dedicated content to specific mods. As is mentioned in the description, it's not the most ideal solution since different mods balance things differently, but it was the most efficient implementation on my end.

I would know for sure since I don't play Fargo's mods, but I thought there was already stuff for thrower because of Thorium cross-mod? If that is the case, whatever thrower stats those items add would apply to this mod's Thrower since they're internally the same damage type.

Any plans for some souls themed accessories when Fargo's Souls is loaded? (Enchantments and forces, Essences and souls, etc.)

I've been considering playing Masochist mode with this mod and i was wondering if there was any ideas for souls themed content.
