The Animatia Pirate Group isn't small-time. Led by Abigail Animatia, the pirate group controls many asteroid bases hidden amongst the belts of the Cetarus system. Despite owning several Endeavors and Njords, the Duchess prefers an upgunned upengined Class J civilian starship for her personal craft with rudimentary shields offered by an overcharged navigational array, being able to mess with the targeting systems of torpedoes as a scrapyard electronic warfare system.

It may look small and fragile, but it specializes in maneuverability and underhanded hit and runs to decimate much larger fleets who aren't as well-trained at fighting in the belts of Cetarus. Zipping between tight asteroids, bursting through dust clouds, and changing the trajectory at low warp before their prey can react. That's what the USS Animatia thrives on. Though the repetitive nature of her naming scheme may get called into question, it's born from a deep pride of her personal work through sweat and grit to grow her piracy beyond the infancy stage, recruiting even former navy officers into her loyal ranks.
