But oh my goodness gracious, the second or third laboratory room with the infinite-spawning enemies + broken door is rage-inducing. On Heroic, the larger melee forms one-hit-kill players at full HP. Combined with the infinite spawning (and needing to turn around to see how close the door is to opening & the infinite spawning being from multiple angles) it's nigh-impossible without cheesing the event.
It would be nice if that part could be tweaked. The rest of the level is very well-balanced & magnificent, so bravo!
Just that one part is a stark difference in difficulty that results in cheesing.
1) Not have the larger melee forms spawn,
2) Not have them be infinite,
3) Only have the smaller human forms be infinite,
4) Replace a health pack with an overshield,
5) Have an audible sound when the door's finished opening (and another sound to indicate it's stuck)
6) Have it be clearer if the player's accidentally pressed the button twice (and thus closed the door & restarted it)
7) Have a few of the lab subject storage units be knocked over to create cover, and
8) Have shotgun ammo in the area
