If you could post those errors on the workshop or the discord server, it would be appreciated.

This is a test build for Guns of 93. Only add this mod if you would like to test new feature and offer bug reports or suggestion for the next update for Guns of 93. Please post logs, concerns, or suggestions in the Discussions below or on the Guns of 93 Discord Server[discord.gg].

The Test Build is now primarily focused on rebuilding Guns of 93 for B42.

Instead of trying to list out a road map, I’m just going to start posting the most current update to this mod.

New update - 8/17/2025

Once again, things took a little longer because of IRL things. But the AK update is finally here, along with some bug fixing.

- Fixed an issue with the recoil delay sandbox setting causing all guns to set to the same delay.
- Fixed the MountOn script for slings. Should be able to install them now.
- Slug recipe typo and missing place in box recipe. Also fixed where boxing .45 Colt would become .40 S&W.
- Changed the recoil pad model to be more universal between guns.
- Fixed some silencer models not showing up on guns.
- Adjusted magazine code so it prioritizes the highest capacity mag when doing an auto reload and the magazine itself has to be reloaded.
- Fixed an issue where mounting bayonets via the radial menu wouldn’t always mount the bayonet selected, if different types of bayonets were in your inventory.
- Tweaked the new spawner script to hopefully reduce the amount of errors people have been having.
- ARs and AKs now have a rare chance to spawn with full auto triggers.
- AKs have been completely redone in the same fashion that the ARs and Remington and Mossberg shotguns have. They now spawn with different manufactures, furniture, different folding stocks, and even as sportized versions.

Next up is redoing the Remington 700 and 788 rifles. Also plan on redoing how gun maintenance works.

Australopithecus - True, I would definitely like to see changes/fixes to the current loot distribution. If that happens then this mod would be basically perfect

Marrok - I didn't know that about gun mods, I'll keep that in mind.
Guns of '93 is my favourite gun mod anyways, i like how there isn't a ton of unrealistic movie-slop guns (like some other mods I've found)

Also i had a pump shotgun with an M9 bayonette through this whole ordeal and it worked completely fine, The problem was only with detachable magazine guns.

ChickenGuy89 - Running multiple gun mods will cause issues. Gun mods are not compatible with each other.

UPDATE:
I think i fixed the problem, So i had a mod called "Firearms B42 Vanilla" enabled and when i disabled it and messed around with my AR180 a bit then i managed to get the magazines to work as normal, My knockoff AK from guns of '93 (i forget the name) also began to work just as normal, it was taking Bakelite, regular and 5 round AK mags,

It just wouldn't work.

I had the same issue where I could eject the mag, but couldn’t insert it back via the context menu. I discovered you could still insert it if you click R, granted the mag was in your inventory
